Spanish art exhibition in Krasnoyarsk / Siberia.

"I have the privilege to announce that thanks to the recommendation of Madrid José S. Ocon, artist, gallerist, curator and founder and organizer of international cultural-artistic projects and for the event listed below, have been selected along with 8 other artists to participate in a group exhibition of English art to be held in August in Krasnoyarsk / Siberia - Russia.

To mark the Year of Espa ñ a in Russia, are held in various parts of the country's cultural events dedicated to Spain.
In Krasnoyarsk, the capital of the Land of the same name, located in Siberia, in the geographic center of the territory of the Russian Federation, will be inaugurated on August 9 this year, pro the first time a group exhibition English contemporary art, with the title "Spain - Siberia" , with the participation of nine visual artists English.
be participating in: Joseph S. Ocón (Madrid / Germany) Imma Merino (Mataró), Albert Cuevas (Gerona), Jonas Hernández Navarro (Valencia), Soledad Fernandez (Madrid), Parejo I Emili Pujolar (Mallorca), Maria Rey (Madrid), Carlos Casu (Madrid) and Pilar Arranz (Madrid).
The invitation to the artists mentioned by the Minister of Arts and Culture of the Federal State of Krasnoyarsk, in collaboration with the Artists Union of Russia, Section Krasnoyarsk, is due to the recommendation and mediation of Joseph S. Ocon, artist, gallerist and curator in Madrid, living in Westphalia / Germany.
Joseph S. Ocon was the first Western European artist 1995 had the honor of being invited by the director general of museums of Krasnoyarsk, to participate in the First International Biennial Museums, in which event the international jury awarded first prize. Then Ocón founded in 1996 "Bridge Art Westphalia-Siberia" having been the first collaboration between artists from both countries. Since then considered in Krasnoyarsk to Madrid Ocon, not just as artistic and cultural pioneer, but as a representative of two European nations, namely Spain and Germany.
This is why the Ministry of Arts and Culture, Krasnoyarsk, has asked Ocón advice and collaboration for the organization of the planned exhibition of English art.
The exhibition, in which each participating artist may exhibit up to ten works will last for a month and will be presented to the public in the halls of the Union of Artists, located in one of the three main streets and more visited the city.
